Impact of ICT on business competitiveness supported by a digital education model
Main Article Content
Abstract
The incorporation of ICTs in the context of education becomes an unparalleled ally, by promoting collaboration between people and entrepreneurs with common interests regardless of location, interaction with networks and databases that enable knowledge updating, understanding of concepts in a transversal and integrated way and therefore possibilities of synchronous and asynchronous communication, which energize the business environment. This type of education raises a learning environment with the increasing incorporation of ICT in dynamic academic situations and social and business impact, the use of electronic books with collaborative annotations or the academic forums of questions and answers, which allow the construction of pedagogical models focused on learning and not on content or activity, where the new role of the teacher is made explicit in observing the difficulties that students may present through the questions or their strengths in the contributions they offer. In this way the teacher is in
greater interaction with the students, allowing them to better explore their potential. Therefore, the main objective of this article is to see how ICT impacts business competitiveness that is based on a digital education model.
